Privacy policy
The app collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics, so there is no data for anybody to hold, sell or lose.

What we collect
Nothing. No name, no email address, no phone number, no location, no contacts, no advertising identifier and no device identifier.
The app has no sign-in screen, because there is nothing to sign in to.
Where your answers go
Every answer you write is saved to a database stored on your own phone. It stays inside the app's private storage, which the operating system keeps separate from other apps.
Nothing is uploaded. We run no server for your entries, so there is nowhere for them to be sent.
Your copy of the data
A button in Profile writes your whole history out as a JSON file. The file belongs to you. Where you put it, and who you show it to, is your decision alone.
To delete everything, uninstall the app. That removes the database with it. We hold no copy, so there is no deletion request to make and nobody to make it to.
What the app does not use
- No analytics of any kind, and no crash reporting service.
- No advertising, no advertising identifier and no tracking.
- No third-party software development kit that reports to another company.
- No cookies, because the app is not a web page.
- No social login, and no connection to any social network.
Reminders
A reminder is scheduled by your own phone and shown by your own phone. The text is already inside the app. No reminder is sent from a server, and no reminder reports back that you read it.
You can turn every reminder off, and none is switched on without your choice.
This website
This site is a set of static files. It sets no cookie and runs no analytics. The one form on the home page is a demonstration only: it posts nowhere and stores nothing.
Our host records ordinary server logs, such as an IP address and a request time, in the normal course of serving a page. We do not read them to identify a person.
Payment
There is no billing in the app today, and nothing charges anybody. If a paid tier is added later, the store handles the payment. We would never see or hold a card number.
Children
The app is written for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and it collects nothing from anybody, whatever their age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that reduces your privacy would need a new app version, and you would choose whether to install it.
